BZvilleWhere there ain't no dead ends... 9 avril
8 avril OPT extended to 29 months?!!!Yep, you heard it here first, OPT is extended to 29 months, from 12! That means... I can stick around in US for up to 29 months with a crappy job, instead of 12! Such a relief. 29 months, two and a half year... wow. Just wow Guess the Congress could do some good for a change. I can almost feel the crowd in front of those US counsulates in China getting bigger, a lot bigger. Hail Eris! 31 mars New car, New term, New responsibilities...For all those people out there that know how much I hated the Japanese government, well, I bought a new Japanese car... Sad, but the is just too nice. 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT with V6 3.8L engine and 650 watt stereo system... Best of all, its color: "sunset pearlscent" aka. orange with orange/cream interior. Call me gay if you wish, but the car is pimped! Will most definitely upload some pics later, but ya... took the car out for a spin on I-80 and reaches 140 mph easily, thats... 140*1.6 = 204km/h !! and the car was still steady like a stone. If only they sell those in China... Good news, they're actually importing those next year in China, Selling for 450,000 RMB base, with the GT model over 550,000 RMB. Phew... So much for my old eclipse... Looking at both of them parked at the parking lot... feeling so sad for my old baby... Anywayz, taking 3 300level classes this term, CS research seminar 399; CS graphics 321? and Advanced Financial Math, Math-327. Will be a fun term. Will be working at Washington, Iowa this summer and hangout w/ my roommate and other friends. Won't make that much money, but 10-12 bucks an hour isn't that bad for a intern job. Gotta start saving money for the car payment, insurance along w/ my loans. Talking cash$. But again, life won't be fun w/o the pressure. Finally started working out again today. Feels good to lose some sweat, but am now going to the Wing night... ah... America just isn't for slim people... If you get the chance, get on youtube and check out that clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9QNKB34cJo Pretty goddamn amazing, w/ 2million views so far. Can't complain much, but media have their own standards of justice. CNN vs. Youtube, there's some balance there, just need to find it. Happy fool's day! // FYI none of above is joking... tho... well, you won't believe me at this point anyway. Cheers 8 novembre So, there's this kid...So, there's this super Emo and partially homo kid from China called this blog space "The dead place", hmm...
Ya, you know who I'm talkin' about, Ant?!
About time to jot something down before I leave this country again.
Worked my As* off this term, kind of. Entered the AEM international programming contest, got a 3rd place for the contest site out of 19 teams, not too bad:D
As a reward, got a ribbon, and a booklight w/ IBM tradermartk on it, sigh... "Our proud sponsor" was so generous.
Our frad, Sigma Nu, threw 4 parties this term, probably a record, considering we threw total of 6 parties last year whole year... and I'm the social, so I'm happy.
Found out that purchasing tickets for others under your United Economy Plus account doesn't gain miles for yourself... kinda stupid. Hope they give me a free upgrade to Bussiness class again this time, ya, United?
Heading back to China Dec 6th, gonna be cold... was thinking of making a trip to the south and meet up some friends, or just to stay a lil warmer?
Regardless, a good term in general. Got this Mac book that I really enjoyed, and got a Nintendo wii. Hmm...
Gas price, 3.14/gal 7 juillet Transformers, coming sTrong!Transformers! Oya!
Watched the movie, soooooo awesome!!!
Wished so much I still had my collection of transformers, would go crazy now.
It's just really nice to finally see your childhood dreams coming true:
I've always always always wanted to see people at the same age of my parents to be interested in Transformers, now there they are...
The best part, I was driving toward the theatre to watch the movie, THREE 18-wheeler semi trucks were in front of me the whole time... I was sooo pissed, but then they ALL pulled into the theatre parking lot, and all three man walked into the theatre right in front of me. I bet those wheeler drivers are really proud of themselves when they saw Optimus Prime (the main good autobot).
Kind of sad though, all autobots are American cars. The Americans probably make the best trucks, but I don't know about that pontiac solstice, should've been an Audi TT, ha, that'd be funny...
Got in touch with a couple of the new Chinese students, they all sound pretty cool, wish'em luck.
3 weeks till me going back, can't wait...
Transformers the movie made like 27 million US dollars in the first 2 days... geez...
Somebody should've made the movie A LOT sooner than this, apparently.
There're also 3 linkin park songs throughout the movie, I was excited just for that part...
go, 变形金刚, rock on! |
